Heads and employees of regional scientific technical libraries, RLST branches, were invited. The agenda included the key issues of scientific technical libraries' work such as acquisition of regional collections of scientific technical documents, methods of bibliographical lists compiling, prospects of use of automation technologies in RLST and its branches, and more. Presentations of patent collection, as well as the ones of normative technical documents and industrial catalogues were conducted. RLST Internet center provided the participants with a seminar in patent search on the Internet and a training in use of MS Excel. The most important issues were discussed during round table meetings. Heads of RLST branches took part in a meeting dedicated to summarizing RLST work in the first half of 2009. In the end, the participants visited the Belarusian National Library.
